Today’s Lion in the Limelight focuses on Online Sales Representative, Chris Goodhue, who hails from Attleboro, Massachusetts originally from Ipswich, MA. Read how this history major made the switch to sales and found his way to the onDemand team we’re certainly glad he did!
AC: Tell us about your role and position at Lionbridge onDemand?
CG: I am currently an Online Sales Representative on the “Goodmancial” team focusing on buyers in the Financial, Manufacturing, and Consumer Goods industries.
AC: What about Lionbridge onDemand made you want to work here in the first place?
CG: As someone who studied History in college, I’ve always been interested in various cultures. Lionbridge onDemand offered the opportunity to work with and talk to people from a variety of different places and backgrounds.
AC: What is your proudest memory at Lionbridge onDemand?
CG: My proudest memory was making my first sale.
AC: Tell us about your first sale?
CG: I was able to help a small design firm translate some signage for a well-known auto parts retail chain. They were very impressed by the portal and our process.
AC: Before working at Lionbridge, what other jobs did you have?
CG: I was a middle school History teacher and a record store manager (Remember those? Oh, you were born after 1990…oh, guess not.)
AC: What are your long-term career goals and aspirations?
CG: To grow with and become a leader at a company that shares my values.
AC: What’s your claim to fame? Or Fun fact about yourself:
CG: I’m always up for a challenge, this summer I took up paddle boarding.
