This week I caught up with Nico, an online sales representative here on the onDemand team. Originally from East Boston he now resides in Peabody, MA. Despite his short time here, Nico has already proven he is a hard worker and has even had his first sale. Take a moment to catch up with Nico and learn more about him outside the office in this week's Lion in the Limelight!

AC: Tell us about your role and position at Lionbridge onDemand?
NI: I am an Online Sales Representative. My day usually consists of first prospecting and then making calls to potential clients. I also run meetings with clients throughout the week
AC: What about Lionbridge onDemand made you want to work here in the first place?
NI: It’s a young company that’s rapidly growing with lots of opportunity. Since most of the employees are close to my age, it is a really fun work atmosphere. Everyone here is driven towards a greater goal and I like when those around me are as motivated as I am.
AC: What is your proudest moment at Lionbridge onDemand?
NI: I've only been here for a short time so I’d say making my first sale was really exciting. Once you break the ice it only gets better.
AC: Tell us about your first sale?
NI: My first sale was a one off pretty simple InDesign translation. The client was from Chicago and he was very easy to talk to.
AC: Before working at Lionbridge, what other jobs did you have?
NI: I bounced around as a bartender for almost 2 years after college and I couldn’t tell you how happy I am for this opportunity at Lionbridge
AC: What are your long-term career goals and aspirations?
NI: First and foremost I want to be happy. I think if one can look back on their life and say they are truly happy, there’s nothing more satisfying than that. Of course I want to make a lot of money so that I can take care of myself and my family. I think it is so important to do something that you love because if you’re doing something that you love, there’s no cap on the amount of effort you are willing to put into it.
AC: What’s your claim to fame? Or Fun fact about yourself:
NI: I have a passion for learning other languages and cultures. There is so much to see and learn in other parts of the world. I am fluent in Italian (it was my first language). I am also conversational in Spanish & Portuguese.
