In this edition of Lion in the Limelight I caught up with Jillian St. Jean, who is an Online Sales Rep on the onDemand team! Jillian is a very hard worker and also has great fashion sense. This week, I spent a few minutes with Jillian to learn more about why she chose Lionbridge onDemand and where she sees her career going!
AC: Tell us about your role and position at Lionbridge onDemand?
JS: I work with the Online Sales Team on Lauren (the real MVP’s) team.
AC: What about Lionbridge onDemand made you want to work here in the first place?
JS: The environment, but once I saw the snack drawer that was a game changer.
AC: What is your proudest memory at Lionbridge onDemand?
JS: Proudest is my first sale. I have a lot of favorite memories, but I think laughing at the outrageous things Lindsey Zolot has to say takes the cake.
AC: Tell us about your first sale?
JS: I have to give a shout out to Val Bishop for my first sale. I was pretty excited because her customer wanted to continue with different projects and I was pumped.
AC: Before working at Lionbridge, what other jobs did you have?
JS: My first job I was a “scoopologist” at Friendly’s, making children smile since 09’. I had two different internships one in the marketing department at United Way, and the other I did event planning and social media marketing at Crompton Collective.
AC: What are your long-term career goals and aspirations?
JS: I would have to say holding a management position and really just climbing the ladder. In the long run I want to find something that I am passionate and love doing since it looks like I will be working the rest of my life.
AC: What’s your claim to fame? Or Fun fact about yourself.
JS: Believe it or not I met Aaron Carter back in the day he was a pretty big deal ….
